This policy explains what the Christy Young website ("we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to send through the inquiry form or the studio-list signup: your name, email address, the topic you select, and any message you include. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
How your inquiry is delivered
Form submissions, including the studio-list signup, are delivered to us by a form relay run by DGB Innovations, the studio that built this site. It processes your message only to pass it along to us, and keeps a copy in a private spreadsheet we use to reply and to send you new work if you asked for it.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use this site so we can improve it. Analytics is configured to anonymize IP addresses and is used only for measurement, never for advertising. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Links to other sites
This site links to third parties such as Instagram and Singulart. Once you follow one of those links, their own privacy policies govern your visit.
Analytics, embedded content and third-party services
This site uses Google Analytics, described below. Everything else listed here is infrastructure that serves the page and does not follow you to other websites.
- Vercel Inc. hosts this website. When a page is served, Vercel records standard request data (your IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure.
- Google Analytics counts visits and shows us which pages are read. It sets cookies and receives your IP address and browser details. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or by blocking cookies in your browser.
- DGB Innovations, the studio that built this site, runs the form relay that delivers what you type into the contact form to our inbox. It processes the message only to deliver it.
- The AI receptionist (the chat assistant in the corner of the page) is run by DGB Innovations. What you type into it is used to answer you and to pass your request to us; it is not used for advertising.
Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. None of them is given your information for its own marketing, and we do not sell, rent or share your personal information for advertising.
AI chat assistant
The chat assistant in the corner of this site is an AI system, not a person. It is run for us by DGB Innovations. What you type is sent to DGB Innovations and to its AI model provider (currently Anthropic) to write each reply. DGB Innovations does not keep a transcript of the conversation, and the model provider handles it under its own commercial terms, which do not let it train its models on it. If you ask us to follow up, the name, contact details and question you give are passed to us so we can reply.
The assistant can make mistakes. Our posted information and policies, and our staff, have the final word, and nothing the assistant says changes them. Please confirm anything important with us directly, and do not type payment card numbers, health information or other sensitive details into the chat.
Data retention
We keep your inquiry only as long as needed to respond, then remove it.
Your choices
You may ask us to confirm, correct or delete the information you sent. To make a request, email youngchristym@gmail.com.
Children
This site is meant for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
